It seems that fall has lasted almost as long as summer. With well over ten feet of snow on the ground as last as Father’s day, summer was short, but appreciated.
Fall has been nothing short of exceptional here in the eastern Sierra. Though an early storm dumped 18″ of wet heavy snow, and it looked like the leaves would turn brown before they turned golden and orange, we were blessed with the fullness of fall colors.
Even now, on the eve of Halloween, you can catch glimpses of fall colors here and there.
